Happy Mother's Day

I hope all the Mom's had a great Mother's Day. The Kitchen Goddess woke to a lovely breakfast in bed to start the day prepared by Pupperdoodle! The rest of the day was spent relaxing and spending time together as a family, which is what I feel is one of the best ways to spend my days.
We did have to do a little yard work and we managed to help make another mother safe for the day.
We found a new bird's nest in our tree that we were trimming and had to take extra care not to ruin this mother bird's day.....well worth the effort.

Otto is Dog tired..Bark For Life Walk x2

What a weekend for our fundraising dog Otto "FourPaw" the clown. This was the weekend of the Bark for Life American Cancer Society Walks in both Queens and NYC. So on Saturday the Kitchen Goddess took Otto and the team to Flushing Meadows Park in Queens for the walk. They also participated in some of the contests and FourPaw won "shortest dog". Too bad they didn't have a contest for longest dog because as a dachshund he would win in both those categories.

Then on Sunday the clowns walked in the NYC Bark for life walk in Riverside Park on the upper west side. Like last year we looked great and our team captain FourPaw led us through the walk and posed for a bunch of photos. It was a fun event and between both walks we raised about $400 for the American Cancer Society.

In between the two walks, on Saturday evening Otto and I went on Good Dog Rounds at Brookdale Hospital.

Sunday night, Otto passed out on the bed  and didn't move until the next morning.....dog tired....
What a great weekend for the entire family! Thanks to Otto "FourPaw" the clown we all had a blast.
